About Grasya

Grasya loves travel, coffee, reading books, and poetry.

Grasya is an advocate of freedom.. but she does not tolerate freeloaders.

Grasya is a girl in the office corner no more coz she works here and there virtually. She also loves to be anonymous while doing mystery shopping. And she’s taking steps to be a full time fairy.

Grasya lives and breathes IT (information technology) but loves to hold on jurassic gadgets as long as she can still use it.  Coz she is a verrryy frugal person… errr sometimes. Although she is improving and getting (street) smart at it.

She took Masters in Computer Science but realized its just a title.. like having lots of money is just like having lots of paper and metal.

But that’s a cynical thought. :D…. and she likes to eliminate such thoughts thru prayer and giving small random acts of love and kindness, coz it’s really what the world needs now.

  8. Hi Grace,

Stumbled on your blog while doing some research on VSO. I’m excited to read about your experiences, especially during your stint in India. I hope that one of these days, when I am no longer on the fence whether I should apply to VSO or not, I could email you for some tips/advice.

    Thanks and more power!

    • every VSO volunteer have different experiences on their volunteer placements but i’ve got great experiences so far… when the opportunity comes to volunteer internationally even if its not thru VSO, i’d say go go go ^_^… ps, i notice your email sounds familiar.. you’re not the Janice De Belen everyone knew right? ^_^

  9. Hi Grasya, I’m interested in signing up for VSO, kaya I’m reading the volunteers’ blogs. how did your career benefit from the experience? i’ve always wanted to volunteer for the adventure, acquire new skills, and beef up qualifications :)

    Posted by rachel | March 10, 2012, 2:35 am
    • Hi Rachel, VSO is a way of life, a vocation, and not just a career ^_^… If you have the “calling” to do the extra challenge no matter what the risks are, you’ll still do it anyway. ^_^ Of course it will be a great help for you if you’ll prepare for it to minimize the risks, all the best ^_^

  10. Fellow greetings through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! May He continue to shower you His blessings because of your pure heart.

I have been trying to locate the whereabouts of Fr. Georg Wibmer Fender through the google search engine and with the the help of our Lord, i located your website wherein you mentioned that he was your mentor.

I hope you can email me (if you happen to have it:))his personal email (and cellphone?) at the soonest possible time so i can immediately relay an important message to him regarding his very good friend Mr. Jesus San Antonio who is actually the one trying to locate his whereabouts for a couple of months now. It is a very urgent personal matter so i hope and pray that you could help us with our request.

I am also an emhc minister from Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Bacood Sta. Mesa, Manila. You can visit our new website at http://emhc.fretzi.com

Thank you very much and God bless:) Yours in Christ thru our Blessed Mother Mary….

    Respectfully yours,
